Q’STRAINT Returns as a Sponsor of the Permobil Charity Golf Tournament

Q’STRAINT once again hit the links to participate in and sponsor the Permobil Cares Foundation Charity Open Golf Tournament at the Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tennessee. Many of our Permobil friends were in attendance along with other prominent mobility partners to help support this great cause.

What is the Permobil Foundation?

The Permobil Foundation supports passengers who require mobility devices, but cannot afford them through grants, community support, college scholarships and equipment donations. The golf charity event is for all vendors, family and employees at Permobil who contribute and raise money for this tremendous organization.

The Q’STRAINT Permobil Partnership

Together, Q’STRAINT and Permobil play a key role by increasing mobility options, as well as improving safety for mobility passengers. The Q’STRAINT QLK-150 personal wheelchair docking system seamlessly integrates with Permobil’s power and manual mobility devices to provide accessibility for all safely and independently.

Have you heard of ‘Q’ Golf Balls?

The Q’STRAINT ‘Q’ golf balls made their debut at the tournament and were appropriately adorned on the golf carts. Q’STRAINT involvement did not end there. We also sponsored a team as well as two of the golf tournament holes.

While Q’STRAINT was unable to repeat as tournament champions, we still came out a winner by taking part in such a worthy cause. At the end of the day, the tournament collected over $70,000 in charitable funds to provide wheelchairs for those mobility passengers without the financial resources to buy one – lining up with our mission of making safety accessible.
