Q’STRAINT BEGANN MIT EINER EINFACHEN FRAGE:
Wie können Rollstuhlfahrer in Fahrzeugen auf sichere Weise gesichert werden?
In den 1970er Jahren machte sich ein Team von Studenten und Spezialisten an der Queen’s University in Ontario, Kanada, auf die Suche nach Antworten.
Ihre Forschung zeigte, dass Fahrgäste im Rollstuhl einzigartige Sicherheitsbedürfnisse haben, die einzigartige Sicherheitslösungen erfordern, wie es sie zu jener Zeit noch nicht gab. Daher entwickelte das Forschungsteam das weltweit erste vollintegrierte 4-Punkt Rollstuhlfahrgastsicherungssystem.
